LAUNCH: Footfall | Hugh O’Donnell

Join us to celebrate the launch of Hugh O’Donnell’s collection, Footfall, with remarks from Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, who says: ‘The poems in Footfall are packed with lives, with people and their burdens of past shocks and others’ lives. The poet’s alertness to the footfall of humanity, the verbal grace of the writing, combine to present a tight focus on people under the pressure of history, or adrift. This is poetry as the dedication of language, in his words, ‘something needing to be said’ (‘Sean Scully Room, Dublin City Gallery’).
The launch will take place at 2pm on Sunday 22nd June. All are welcome.
