Writehawks | June 2025

Another brilliant Writehawks with the Rick O’Shea bookclub was held here on Thursday 19th June. Despite the incredibly hot weather we had another full house of readers keen for more recommendations ☀️ (What better to do in the sun but read anyway!)

This time the hot seats were occupied by Irish writers Anna Carey, Mark O’Connell and Catherine Prasifka who chose a range of books as eclectic as we’ve come to expect! Thank you so much to the lovely crowd (enthusiastic as ever) and of course the writers themselves who so generously took part and made such passionate cases for their chosen books. As always, bravo and thanks to Rick O’Shea for making it all happen. Already excited about the next installment in September! (Watch this space for announcements in August).
