Poetry with Alvy Carragher, Maeve O’Sullivan & Anne Tannam

Join us for an afternoon of poetry at 2pm on Sunday 23rd February. Poets Alvy Carragher, Maeve O’Sullivan and Anne Tannam will read from the new work and all are welcome. Admission is free but please do reserve a place using the booking form below.
ABOUT THE POETS:
Alvy Carragher has published four books, three of which are poetry: What Remains the Same (2024), The men I keep under my bed (2021) and Falling in love with broken things (2016). She received the Irish Arts Council’s Literature Bursary Award in 2022 and 2024 to support her work.
Maeve O’Sullivan is the author of six collections of long and short-form poetry from Alba Publishing. The latest is Where All Ladders Start (November 2024), for which she received an Arts Council Literature Agility Award. Maeve works part-time in further education and leads haiku workshops in various contexts. www.maeveosullivan.com
